Download fbl map viewer editor for free. This project is intended to create an application to view edit electronic maps created in FBL format. The idea is to be able to customize factory installed maps with your own information, such as brand new roads, Favorite POIs in bulk etc.
Is this correct? I can download the latest NZ maps OK. EDIT: problem seems to be with Transmission client I use (Linux). Working OK with qtBittorent.
Earth Map 2012
I'm a bit confused. I downloaded and copied these files over, replacing the existing ones. However when I check the program (Settings-About-Maps) to see what map is installed I see 'AustR18 Whereis Mapdata 110126' and 'Basemap 200707 080812'. The 'new' Australia.fbl file is 95,409 kb. The text doc with the d/l says iGOR3 WhereiS R20 2012.Q4 Australian Map iGO8.3.x, 8.4.x, 8.5.x and 8.6.x Australian WhereiS R20 2012Q4 Map Requirements:iGO8 R3/R4/R5 navigation software Operating System:Windows Mobile/CE running iGO8/Primo Overview: Sensis/WhereiS version map for Australia R20 2012Q4.
I have double-checked the map subdir on my microsd card and the files have definitely been copied across. So my query is- is this the latest version? And if so, why would the program ID it as R18? This works well on my Android running latest IGO2 application. I just deleted the old Telstra map files and copied over the new map files in the same locations on my SD card. Only thing, I though the cameras weren't working, but realised that alot of them have been deactivated in my area since I last installed the map.
This info according to the latest January 2013 camera locations file found on the roads and maritime web site. Also find that the bundled POIs are still listing businesses that have long since closed. Especially shops and restraunts. Some that haven't been in business for at least a few years or more.
Others have changed names but are still listing both the old and new business at the same location.
